Tim Pedigo has been involved in ministry of music, worship, and the Word for over 45 years. He began as a Music Minister in his local church, Christ Temple in Irving, Texas while studying Music Education at the University of North Texas. During this time he also taught Adult Bible Class and helped start their school, Christ Temple Academy.
In 1980 Tim attended Jackson College of Ministries where he was the Vice President of the Music club and made his first recording project, “Rain Your Love.” During this year he met and sang for the first time with Geron and Becky Davis. Within a couple of years, they were all living in Irving, TX and working in the same church. This was the beginning of the group, “Davis/Pedigo.”
The next dozen years were a mix of songwriting, recording, and traveling while doing concerts, as well as choir and vocal clinics. During this time Tim moved to Louisiana and became a part of the Music and Creative Arts teams at the Pentecostals of Alexandria. While there, he helped form the Louisiana All-State Youth Choir.
In the fall of 1988, the UPCI General Conference was held in Salt Lake City, Utah and on the last day, just before the evening service, a mutual friend introduced Tim to a young lady, Adena Mooney. He had seen her, only once, a few months before but had never actually met her. There was an immediate connection, but time and distance proved to be a barrier. Two years later, on November 10, 1990, Davis/Pedigo was asked to sing at the Calvary Tabernacle Anniversary Concert. That happened to be where Adena lived and worked and worked at Indiana Bible College.
Adena grew up in a pastor’s home in Muskegon, Michigan. She participated in church building, church planting, and all of the different ministries of the church. She traveled extensively with her parents, Rev. Paul D. and Micki Mooney, singing at camps and conferences where he was preaching and her mother played the organ. She later attended Jackson College of Ministries. Upon leaving JCM, she became immersed in the church music program at Calvary Tabernacle and the implementing of the Indiana Bible College Charter, which was moving to Indianapolis. Adena was the first employee of Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis. She was in charge of the Financial Office, Student Services, and served as an Instructor.
Within a very short time, that November 10 date would prove to be the beginning of a lifetime together. On June 1, 1991 Tim and Adena married, and their music ministries were joined together in the first of several recordings. By the end of that year, they moved to Indianapolis where Tim served first as Administrative Assistant to Rev. Paul D. Mooney while Adena continued to serve at Indiana Bible College. Later on, she would take on the Ladies Department and Children’s Ministry. During their twenty-nine years of service at Calvary Tabernacle, Tim was also an Instructor at both Indiana Bible College and Calvary Christian High School. In 1995, he accepted his call to preach and later served Calvary Tabernacle as Assistant Pastor for 20 years. During this time Tim was the lead Pastor for the design and construction of Calvary Christian School and Family Life Center.
Tim has also served as Indiana District Global Missions Director, the Music Coordinator for the North American Youth Congress, and the Pentecostal Music Association where he was in charge of creating the North American Talent Search, and has written articles for the Pentecostal Life Magazine. He now serves on the UPCI Music Ministry Advisory Board. Tim is presently on the Indiana District Board as the Section 5 Presbyter.
Adena presently serves as the Indiana District Ladies Ministries President and serves as the Director of H.O.P.E. Ministries – UPCI. She is a gifted clinician and speaks at Ladies Conferences across the country. She has also written articles for the Ladies Reflections Magazine and the Pentecostal Life Magazine. Adena is also a licensed Kindermusik Instructor.
In July of 2020 the Pedigos entered a new phase of ministry as full-time Evangelists. They also do Leadership, Marriage, and Family Seminars.
Tim and Adena have two wonderful children, Maci and Georgeon, who are both graduates of Indiana Bible College. Georgeon is presently completing his Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan College. They have each answered their call to ministry and are serving churches in the Connecticut District - UPCI.
